Just felt like sharing this. For writers who have been around the sun a few times, they’ve likely seen this in various forms over the years and know how to roll their eyes and hit “Bin it”. Newer writers may find it harder to dismiss. I’m a lot more jaded than I used to be. Anyway, and for readers, I don’t know. I hope maybe you’ll see how much legit, real, human interaction means to writers. Writing is solitary. We often share into the void. We might see read counts go up, but often there’s still a whole lot of silence, which is mostly fine, although harder, I think in the early days when you’re still building your confidence. My own confidence fluctuates still, but I have a history I can look back over now and remind myself I do know how to do this.
